The Optimist Oratorical Contest is an international event held yearly. Our club hosts a local competition in February where first place receives $100, second receives $50, and third place receives $25. The winners of this local competition are able to advance on to further levels of competition, culminating in an international championship where the winner receives a $15,000 scholarship.
