About the Optimist Essay Contest

The Optimist Essay Contest is a yearly event. Our club hosts a local competition where first place receives $100, second receives $50, and third place receives $25. The winners of this local competition have their essays sent to the district level of competition with the possibility of receiving a $2,500 scholarship. The theme of the essay for 2025 is "How Optimism Has Paved My Road to Success".  Essays will be due January 10, 2025.
